This come with the necessary cable and housing to fit my nexus 8 bike, plus a waterproof rubber boot. Very good product from SJS.

Is it compatible with latest Alfine 8 speed hubs?

Hi.

I believe somebody has asked a similar question already, but I would like to confirm this shifter will work with the most recent Alfine hubs: SG-S7000-8 and SG-S7001-8 - as apparently they need cable to be pulled differently (opposing direction) the the older Nexus and Alfine hubs.

Could you please confirm I can use it with SG-S7001-8?
