Neos 8 compatibility

I need to replace a Dahon 8-gear Neos shifter. It's a custom piece, but apparently one of these might work - is that true? (the Dahon one might be reversed, but that wouldn't matter I guess)
SJS Customer Service:
We cannot confirm if this will work or not as we do not know the cable pull of the Dahon unit, I understand the shifters are available directly from Dahon. SK 08/11/23
