Problem Solvers' Cross Clamps mount to your seat tube to make your top-routed cables compatible with bottom-pull road derailleurs. What? Well, you want to race 'cross, right? But 'cross frames have top-routed cables, requiring a top-pull front derailleur. All the good light components tend to be coopted from road groups, which have bottom-pull-only derailleurs. Lots of 'cross frames have a mount for a pulley already integrated - the Cross Clamp allows you to do this with any frame. Get it?

ProsWell made, does exactly what it should.

Well made clamp and pulley. Saved me as I thought I'd have to get a new frame when the original inbuilt pulley mount broke on my Planet X XLS frame [the threaded mount inside the seatpost had rusted away]. Managed to mount this just below the band on derailleur clamp and the gear shifting is now working faultlessly again.

Quality product. Recommended.

ProsHigh quality finish & material. Perfect fit.

Great solution. Solved my issue of having a down pull FD fr my existing groupset for my new top pull frame. Just couldnt find a suitable FD in my local area or thru the net and this came in perfect!

I used this for an MTB with a downpull E-type (BB) front derailleur. Works well. A bit expensive though.
