Prossimple and powerful

Very simple, easy to fit and powerful chain tensioner. A must have when you convert a vertical drop bike into single speed.

Chain length

Is there any guidance with this as to how the chain should be length-wise before you fit the tensioner. Of course it needs to be slack enough to be able to comfortably get the chain off the front ring or the wheel out of the vertical drop out, but should it be any slacker than that, and then just let the tensioner do its job?

It is recommended to have as much chain wrapped around the sprocket as is possible, too little and the chain will slip. SK 19/10/23

Will this fit a Pashley Parabike with Sturmey Archer Hub Gear?

Hello, As we are not a Pashley dealer and have had no experience of this bike we cannot guarantee if this will fit or not.

Can I use this with a 1/8 th chain ? thanks

Hello, Yes you can use this with a 1/8th inch chain.

Can I use this with an alfine hub and a double chain ring. If I can't what would you recommend?

We could not recommend that a double chainring is a suitable option with an Alfine hub. We would need to know the two chainring sizes to make any advisory.

hi, does this work with 3/32 chains and if so will it work with 9 speed chain? thanks
