Tensioner for use with Brompton bicycles.

- CNC Machined
- Lightweight
- Compatible to 22T cog (original max 17T = 25% increase in gear range)
- Weight: 87g

Designed for 2 speed bikes (can not be used for 3/5/6 speed)

Sold as pictured, you will require idler wheels!

sprocket size

Hi what is the maximum tooth sprocket size that can be used with this- is it 22 teeth ? And if so which sturmey archer sprocket will be suitable for my sturmey archer 8 speed hub built into my brompton

Compatible to 22T cog, 22t Sturmey sprocket - SJS Cycles part number : 34794 - be worth asking Kinetics for in-depth knowledge!

Hi again will this work/ fit onto my Sturmey Archer 8 speed single sprocket hub which I converted from my brompton 's original six speed?

I assume it slots on around the axle as per the standard chain tensioner so no issues about axle thread

We have never tried this combination, think its possible to make that work though.

i note you say it is only for the 2 speed Brompton, but why would it not work on the 6 speed Brompton? Grateful if you can clarify.
