Allows Sachs, SRAM, Shimano and Sturmey Archer twistgrips to fit drop handlebars. Also the correct diameter for mounting any other type of mountain bike shifter. Fits into cut down end of drop handlebar, fits left or right, if used with Rohloff, user can cut down to 63mm, item is marked to facilitate this.

ProsEasy to use and fixes reliably
I had to grind the inside of my carbon drop handle bars(great job for the Dremel) to get this to fit as the bars manufacurer had only cleaned up the Id ~10mm short of what the Hubbub requires.
It locks into position really well and does just what it says on the tin.
Pricey but does the job (Well).

Depth of recess

Please could you let me know the depth of the recess to the bolt head as I use a bar end mirror.
