For conversion from Shimano 8/9/10 speed cassette hub to single speed.

- 3 x sprockets 14, 16 and 18 teeth
- 2 x flexible attachable spacers (13.25 + 20.25 mm width) for optimizing the chain line through different positions

Reccomended for use with 3/32 chains

ConsNeeds locking nut to suit

ProsValue

Excellent value for money.
Would benefit from having an over size lock nut.
I was lucky I had one in my spares box.
A Shimano cassette nut wasn’t covering the spacers.

Can I use this to convert a 7 speed Shimano cassette?

SJS Customer Service:

This kit is intended for use with 8 speed and above freehubs, a 7 speed would be too short to convert, I would recommend a kit with more spacers to allow for more adjustment. SK 09/04/25

Would this work with an old 8 speed setup?

This a single speed kit only- which can be used on a Shimano Hyper Glide style freehub with the provided spacers.
