Can I use this with a standard 8100 shifter

I have a standard m8100 bar mount shifter. Can I use this part to convert it to I spec ev?
No, you cannot convert the shifter to I Spec EV

xt 8100 levers with xt 11 speed

I have xt m8100 brake levers (I spec ev) and the 11 speed xt shifter (I spec b). My solution so far has been to saw the bar clamp off a broken zee brake lever! I don't want to change my drivetrain to 12 speed or downgrade my shifter below xt. Can you suggest a solution please? I appreciate parts are scarce at the moment.
