Hi SJS,
Will the shimano Y5LB 98030 work with a 5600 shimano front derailleur? (part number says for 5600 according to shimano is y59g14000 m4x3mm)

Hi,

According to Shimano these should not be cross compatible, but as the correct versions for your derailleur are no longer available and the only real difference is in the length then you should be alright if you fit a small spacer with it. We have not tested this though so I cannot guarantee it will work.
