I bought this cover to remove the gear indicator from my shifter, works perfectly and allows me to position the shifter in a better position on the right side of the brake clamp.
It does exactly what it is supposed to do

It covers the mechanism that is exposed when the gear indicator is removed, thus keeping dirt out of your shifter pod. Neat fit. Screw included. A simple, cheap solution to the the gear display getting in the way of your preferred cockpit setup.
