FD-5600 34.9mm derailleur on vintage 28.0mm steel frame.

Hello
I have recently upgraded my old steel bike with modern components, and I need to fit a Shimano 105 FD-5600 derailleur with 34.9mm clamp to my 28.0mm seat tube.
Will this adapter do, is it compatible? Is there a better option? Do you think the 0.6mm difference between the seat tube and adapter internal diameter could pose a problem?
I was also looking at item 25053 which, according to the description, is a definite match, but, as it seems, it does not come in a thicker 34.9 to 28.6 version. Thanks.

to cover such a big difference we would recommend using this one not 25053 as the shim will not be thick enough.

Frame sizes

I need to clamp a 34.9 shimano m510 to a 29.6 frame and a 34.9 shimano m531 to a 28.6 frame. Would this shim work for both?

This is suitable for the 28.6mm frame, we do not have a suitable shim for 29.6mm so you would need to modify something.
