This cloth tape is sufficient for one bar side per roll including a cut off strip to hide the brake lever clamp. The tape was used on a 40 cm bar with free not hidden cables. The tape is flexible and not so sticky that it cannot be lifted to re-position if necessary and leaves enough to tuck into the bar end before plugging. The texture is fairly aggressive and grippy when fresh but gradually smooths down. Wearing cycling gloves would be advisable.

A good basic tape, which is still my favourite over more elaborate ones. More easily applied than the more upholstered ones and with a good feel of contact when riding.

I am very pleased with the finished look and feel of the handlebars restored by the tape. The roll is only just enough to do the job and I was short by about two inches on my first attempt. It would be helpful if the rolls were 20% longer, especially if applying the tape to a bigger bar.

I don`t actually use it for anything to do with bicycles....I make guitar and mandolin pickups and it`s great for protecting the coils !

Fantastic traditional bar tape, much better than the stuff that many manufacturers are producing nowadays. I use it for putting on my mountain bike barends.
