Road bar with a round compact bend and shallow drop. Shape makes it easy to get into a natural position in the drops and brake levers are within easy reach.

- 6061-T6 aluminum
- Drop: 130 mm

- Available in 26.0 or 31.8 mm centre

Needed a shallow depth pair of bars in preference to the originals, just looked and felt right even without fitting!

I am looking to remodel my 1984 steel frame with 9 speed ergopower. Would this bar work, or which one would you recommend?

What is the width of the clamp area (the 26mm section)

I want to use this with a Moulton wishbone stem, which has two clamps 116mm apart - is the 26mm diameter at least this long (preferably a little bit more like 120mm or so)

Do these bars have a groove for Campag Ergopower lever cables please?

Hi, are the sizes mesured at the axe of the tube or at th outside border?
How much would it cost to ship to France , and how long should it take?

Hi,

These bars are measured centre to centre at the top where the brake hoods would sit. For a shipping quote just add all of the items you are looking at to your basket and the website should calculate the cost for you. Delivery within the Europe is normally 1-2 weeks.

Soma Highway 1 Bars - Fitting To Quill Stem

Hello, I'm slightly concerned about fitting the Soma Highway 1 bars to the quill stem on my bike. The radius on the bend at the top of the bar where it turns to point forwards is quite tight and I'm not 100% confident that I'll be able to get it through the stem without damaging the bar or the stem. I appreciate that they are designed and sized to fit this type of stem, but was wondering of you have any practical experience of fitting them.

Hi,

Although the bend on the bar is tight it should still fit fine. We have sold hundreds of these bars over the years, mainly to customers with quill stems, and have never heard of any fitting issues, so unless your stem has a very wide clamping area it should fit without any issues.
