What brake levers and gear changers do you recommend

My partner's touring bike needs 3 & 7, and is currently fitted with sram triggers on straight bars. She struggled, even with bar ends, with numbness in her hands, and we saw butterfly bars and wondered if they could be the solution.
SJS Customer Service:
Hi there,
Without seeing the bicycle it is difficult to recommend a suitable handlebar - a thing to think about is where is the numbness? The whole hand or certain fingers? - these relate to one or two nerves being under pressure and you can work out a possible solution.
Options are, but not limited to - padded gloves, handlebar position, tyre pressure / style, road surface, suspension etc.
You should in most cases be able to reuse the components, possibly needing new cabling with new handlebars.
Thanks
