If I cut this down to 560mm ...

If I cut this down to 560mm and put it on an S Type, will I need new cables? (M cables for instance?)
SJS Customer Service:
No, you can run these full width with the S type cables; you just need to push the brake / gear levers/shifters in slightly.

Will this fit on an H6?
By Chris
02 Mar 2021
I have an H6 bar on my bike. Adding this to my bike would require shortening of the cables? Is this an intensive process or can I buy cables that would potentially be the right length?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
SJS Customer Service:
You would simply need to fit M type cables!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Bromton M6

Can I just whack these on my M6 or will it mess up the cables? I want a bit of a sportier ride position!
SJS Customer Service:
Hi, your cables will be long so should be shortened appropriately. Though the wont affect the handling being long it is better for the fold and looks! Thanks
Can I use these bars on a B75 without changing cables?

I have a B75 and want to upgrade to these Kuosac 100mm riser bars to lower the ride hide a bit. Would I be able to do this without changing the cables? Thanks
SJS Customer Service:
Hi, Yes but your cables will be a bit long. Thanks
Upgrade for S6L
By Rich
20 Feb 2020
I'm looking to buy a S6L and want to upgrade to these bars. Do I need to change the cables? Also will they fit without hitting the floor when folded?
Thanks
Thanks
SJS Customer Service:
S type, no these will not hit the ground. The cables will be a bit snug if you pull them out to the new grip position, if you allow a bit of space between grip and lever then the cables are fine.

Hi, I'm riding an s2l and am 6'1 1/2. The S bars are too narrow & twitchy, do your 600 give any lift or just back sweep a bit more? I'm torn between yours and a very slight riser bar, do you fo those too? Thx v much. Tim
SJS Customer Service:
You can simply roll them forward to increase the rise, but this will angle the grips slightly.

Does the 600mm give enough clearance from the ground when folded?

SJS Customer Service:
Hi there,
Unfortunately, we do not have any measurement of the angle I'm afraid. Looking at them I can make an estimation that they are between 10 and 15 degrees, however, this is just a visual estimation.
Thanks.
