For 1.1/8th steerer tubes, 34mm ID frames.

6061 T6 alloy cups.

Stack height 13.5 + 13.9 = 27.4mm overall.

ConsUnusual bearings (same price as complete headset on sale)

ProsSpare parts available, light (alloy)

This weighs 120g with top cap, star nut and bolt. It has 36x36 degree sealed bearings in two different sizes. They are not common and so you are pretty well locked in to the genuine article. There is an additional seal for the gap between the fork crown and the lower cup. This and some other parts are available as spares. It did not come with any instructions but SJSC have posted a link to the assembly drawing.

I bought this headset twice on two different bikes and it was the same pleasure ton install, the bearings are very smooth And it comes with all you need, as shown on the picture It seems to be a bargain at this price

External diameter of bottom cup

Hi, Please can you let me know the external diameter of the bottom cup of this headset at it widest point? i.e. the part that sits directly above the fork (not the part that presses into the headtube). Thanks.

"FSA Orbit XL 11" headset fitted to Thorn Raven Tour (2005 year ) Looking to inspect/clean/likely replace headset at some point. checking - Is this 3101 BLK correct replacement part. Thanks
