I used this on a child's touring bike, it was easy to fit and the end result was a very smooth feeling headset I would not hesitate to use the same again.

The cover and bottom cup are painted like the M:Part Pro headset (SJS Cycles part number : 17448blk) which I think looks better than the lettering pictured here. Both cups are steel and are also the outer bearing races. The inner races are steel rings held in place by circlips but the bearings are loose ball. There are no seals so the bearings are open on the inside where you can see the balls. The top cover and compression ring are plastic. It weighs 165g with all the component parts.

Because of the plastic parts and the bearings I would recommend spending more, as removing and pressing in the bearing cups requires special tools and you don't want to do this too often.
