Replaced front and rear axles on my Focus Paralane with these thru axles. Easy to fit. Much easier to remove and refit rear wheel now. They are pricey but replacement RAT axles cost more.

I had continuous problems with front wheel disc alignment on my bike. Replaced the RAT axle a number of times, even changed the wheel bearings but the problem remained. The Robert Axle Project axle is easy to fit and works well. No alignment issues since. It’s easy to remove if you have a puncture on the road, just remember to bring an Allen key. Just purchased a rear axle so that I can fit the bike to a trainer.

Expensive for what they are but a solid replacement for the unreliable and awkward Focus RAT system. I'd hate to be caught at the side of the road unable to get the wheel in or out following a puncture. These axles along with a 6mm allan key prevent this. Excellent service from SJS - arrived the following day
