ProsFairly easy to fit

This part is vital to keep your hub gear working correctly. It helps to keep dirt and water out. The end has a metal crimp, which makes it difficult to get the inner cable through.

It’s needed, it works better with it and keeps things cleaner and tidier.
But nobody stocks except SJS this side of the channel.
Tiny hole at small end might need freeing to ease inner cable through. I used a very thin screwdriver

A very necessary accessory.

Try getting this on wiggle!!
An the product it self is good, does same the cable if you are a winter commuter. I get more precise gear changes more consistently now with it fitted.

The Part Hereinafter Named The Tadpole

When you first see it you think - so what. This tadpole is fundamental to the adjustment of your hub. Even locating it is difficult especially n Sheldon Brown's text. SJS are to be commended to stocking such a rare but vital part.
