Does it work for the BWR?
By Nacho
09 Aug 2019
The shaft of my BWR hub has been damaged and I need to know if I can only change that part, or if it is necessary to change the assembly with the planetary system reference HSA 797
SJS Customer Service:
Unfortunately not, it is only available with the planet cage assembly pre-fitted and the axle for the BWR is unique so there is not a compatible alternative either I'm afraid.

Rear Axle For Brompton
By Steve Wioland
07 Mar 2014
I have a Brompton with a 3speed Sturmey Archer S RF3 hub.
I need to replace the axle as the end has sheared off in the chain tensioner nut.
According to the SA parts list catalogue I need this axle (HSA621) but looking at this picture it looks like the axle doesn't have any flat sides on the threads. The broken axle in the hub does.
Can you confirm if this will fit my S RF3 hub?
Thanks
Steve

SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
This axle is the replacement one for your hub, the picture unfortunately is taken at perfectly the wrong angle because it doesn't show the flat areas when the axle does in-fact have them.
Thanks.
