- All axles are made with aircraft quality 4130 steel
- The steel is specifically made for Wheels Manufacturing
- Heat treated to increase strength without making the axle brittle
- The threads are rolled, not cut, for the best thread strength and ease of assembly
- The rolling of the thread removes no metal from the axle and preserves the grain of the material, maximising said strength

Can I use this to convert a 130 OLN hub to 135

I want to convert a shimano 2200 hub from 130 to 135 spacing. Will this be ok. I understand the wheel will need to br re-dished. Bearings in the hub are standard ball & cone.

Is there any reason to expect this axle to be stronger than the stock axle, Shimano Y30K01200? I seem to have bent one of those.

Yes, this is made from 4130 steel, so should be as strong if not more so.
