shift cable

Good afternoon. Does the included shifter have a cable attached (and the sheathing to go with it)? if not, is the cable head unique to SA or one that is commonly found for sale.

2nd Q. I see that you indicated to TP in 2017 that the hub does not come with a sprocket, but the product description indicates that an 18t sprocket is included.

Difference between RX-RF5 and S-RF5?

Hi, I am looking to replace the not exiting SRAM automatix 2sp on my commuter that has 700c tyres with the Sturmey Archer 5 speed, I see the is the X and the S models in the 5 speed, with the S being much lighter, before I order one, I was hoping to find the difference? is the X more advanced in anyway that would affect daily riding?

The RX-RF is a rotary actuated hub, similar to an Alfine; the S-RF uses an indicator chain.

Would this replace the worn internals for a 5-speed SA hub gear on 1999 Brompton?

I've read you can replace the worn internal mech on an old 5-speed Brompton hub gear, just want to check if this is the right gear to get?

If I purchase this hub and the 5 speed shifter for rotary hubs, will I have everything necessary to install this hub?

You would also need a sprocket, but otherwise that would be everything required to fit it.

Hi.Are You Sure That It'S Possible To Place This135Mm Old Hub In A 125Mm Dropout Space Simply Eliminating 2 Of 3 Lock Nuts?Are You Absolutly Sure? Can Anyone Confirm Please? Many Thanks

Hi,

There are 3 lock nuts fitted, so you could easily remove 2 or replace them with smaller lock nuts. Each lock nut measures 6mm across.

This is unfortunately the only version of this hub available within the UK. This hub comes as standard with an OLN measurement of 134mm, but this is with 3 lock nuts fitted, so it may be possible to lower this figure without too many issues.
