I recommend this product

I have a Pashley for shopping. Fed up of borrowing blinkies from other bikes to run to the shop after dark so wanted to fit permanent dynamo lighting, front and rear. This hub was ideal. Opted for a wheelbuild too.

Consheavier, removing wheel takes longer

Prosno rim wear, quiet, good braking in all weathers, clean

This is a great unit, and I've been using it for about 4 years and that means the wheel rims have not been worn in that time.
The Unit is a very quiet dynamo, quiet braking in all weathers.
I do have one problem I had to find a circlip for my forks as the clip provided looks like it goes on a childs bike.
If you just want a dynamo this is worth getting for the price, just remove the brake shoes and lever arm.

Would this be suitable for use with an Ice QNT trike?

I already have drum brakes, but would like to add a dynamo hub.

Yes this will be suitable, however will require a full wheel rebuild. Please consult ICE as they will be able to best advise.

Hi, what spoke length would I need to lace this to a 700c rim?
