Top specification;
Japanese sealed bearings.
Hollow axle with Ti colour finish.
C clip on both side of each sealed bearing.
Hi-polish custom CNC machined hub shell,
Alloy flush fit bearing cover and end cap.

Well strong hub and very smooth running.
Not the lightest but it does what is supposed to do. The finishing is very nice too, the cones that cover the bearings are a very nice feature.

Chainline Freewheel Spacers

Hi , I'm looking to purchase a Halo fix hg/ freewheel rear hub. It's for a Surly Cross-check, so I'll need the 130mm axle kit. The chainline on the fixed side is no problem because of the adjustability, but I'm not sure about the freewheel side. I was told the chainline is 41mm on that side, which will probably put me off a few mm as my current front chainline is 45 mm with a Sugino Rd2 Crank. Do you know if it's possible to put a few, maybe 3 mm of spacers behind the freewheel to improve the chainline? Otherwise I may have to change the crank and BB to get closer to what I need. Thanks very much for your time.

SJS Customer Service:

We could not recommend spacing out the freewheel. We would look to adjust the bb length if the chainring spacing allows. - running a slightly out chainline is not perfectly ideal, but would be functional.
