Very adaptable Light Bracket

I recommend this product
ConsPricy for a bracket but quality item
ProsVery Flexible. T Hex screws so difficult to steal!
The supernova allows for a very flexible mount. I needed clearance for the customer's bar bag and this allowed me to mount the Sinewave Beacon nice and low just above the mudguard. Other brackets are fixed so don't allow this.
Beautifully engineered too.

Can I swap out the supplied bolt?
By
08 Jul 2024
My fork (Columbus Futura Cross ) crown has an M5 sized unthreaded mudguard mount, and is deep: 60mm or so. I currently have a 70mm bolt attaching a mudguard plus locking nut.

Can I use an alternative bolt, such as the one I have (if it proves to be long enough)?
Provided the bolt has an M6 bolt you can use longer or shorter as needed. SK 09/07/24

Are the heads on the two 'sex bolts' Hex or Torx?
By
10 Nov 2019
The images show both types of bolt heads.
If they are Hex please could you also confirm that they are 4mm (like the standard Edlux mount) or larger?
The reason for my question is that I want to add HexLox security inserts so nead 4mm or larger Hex heads.
Thanks
Hi, the bolts in the current stock are Torx. Thanks 11/11/2019
Can I use this with my Sinewave front light?
By
09 Nov 2019
I'm looking for a sturdy bracket that mounts my Sinewave light to the crown centre bolt of my gravel fork.
This bracket measures 9.5mm internal, the Sinewave light is 10mm. So yes, it will fit fine
How wide is it?Can use it to support a heavy light (diameter 13 cm, depth 12 cm)? Thanks

External is 15mm, internal is 8mm.

Will this fit on the Crown Fork of a Thorn Raven Sport Tour?
By
27 Jun 2019
Made the mistake of purchasing this from Amazon - there's no way it is going to fit on my (threaded) fork crown with the one bolt supplied (the bolt shown in the picture). Is there supposed to be a 2nd bolt that should be supplied that actually threads into a fork crown thread from the side of the bracket (no relevant hole at rear of fork crown in any case). Also, clearance from the headset looks as if it could be very tight on my RST - is this a known problem? Thanks
Hi there,

We generally fit the SON mounts and use a suitable bolt rather than the longer one as provided with this.

You simply need to source a shorter bolt and mount it backwards - this is not provided. The only way to know if its going to cause an issue is to test fit it, we cannot remember the last time we fitted one of these to a Thorn let alone a specific model!

Will It Fit?

Can you tell me if this will fit a Thorn Sherpa fork crown and a B&M Lumotec IQ-X dynamo headlight combo?
Hi,

Although you may require a longer bolt it should be able to fit to your Sherpa. You will have to be careful with the clearance though as the bracket is quite tall it will not have much room between the mudguard and the brake.

Thanks.
Are Bolts Supplied?
By
26 Apr 2016
Hi, I'd like to purchase this and a 'Supernova Fork Mount To Dynamo Light Bracket' to secure my Exposure Revo to a drilled through (non threaded) mountain bike fork.
Does this item come with a fork securing bolt? Also, does either item come with a bolt for fixing the bracket and the multimount together?
It's not clear in your picture, however other suppliers seem to have both bolts included in the photograph.
Cheers
Hi,

Both bolts are indeed included, they are just not shown in this picture supplied by Supernova.

Thanks.
Is This Supplied With The Necessary Stainless Steel Nuts And Bolts?
By

I already have a multimount (supplied direct by Supernova) supplied with the lamp mounting bolt, and a 6mm bolt for fixing to the fork crown... these are missing from your photo, and there's nothing in the description... I'd like to know before I add this my order ... Thanks
Hi,

Although not shown in the photo, this Multimount bracket does definitely come with the light mounting bolt and a 6mm fork fixing bolt.

Thanks.
