Details
The Lyt combines modern LED lens technology illuminating a large light field homogenously. It offers light at close range and a precise light/dark boundary. Its suitable for urban cycling and is also a good light for unlit roads for all but the fastest night riders.
The day light running models from B&M are denoted by the letter T in the name. These utilise B&Ms unique Licht24 technology which allows bike riders to be seen better by other road users in the daylight.
The day time running light (signalling LEDs) shines maximally bright, the riding light directed at the road is dimmed. At night time to achieve a maximum light of the road the riding light shines at full capacity and the signalling LEDs are dimmed. A light/dark sensor automatically switches between day and night mode.
This model is intended for use with hub dynamos and as such has a switch.
- Licht24 daytime running functionality
- Stainless steel mounting bracket

will this fit on sv8 brompton dynamo hub?

Yes- however you will need to install this using the connector cap for your SP dynamo- something like SJS part 6476 would suit.

Hello! Forgive my ignorance, but could you tell me please if I need to buy additional cabling for connecting this up to one of their rear lights, or does it come with the cabling for that as well as to connect to the hub itself? Thanks!
SJS Customer Service:
Thank you for your enquiry, it includes just the cable for the light to connect, no other cabling included.

Three Switch Positions, But Which Is Which?
By Richard Carter
02 Nov 2015
There are three positions for the switch (I list them as seen from the rear of the light): left, centre and right, one side is the daylight running mode, one side is for for off and one is the automatic sensor. But which is which? It's the centre (not side) one that is off, so now I'm completely confused!
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
Underneath the switch on the rear of the light there is a key as to which position of the switch has what function. It is hard to fully see due to its location but there are 3 characters there showing the 3 positions. The central position is "0" which is the off position. The left hand position is "S" which is the senso function that only turns the light on when it is dark. The final right hand position is marked "T" which is the letter Busch and Muller give to their lights to show that it is a light that has the day light running feature, so this final position is for the day light running mode.
Thanks.
