Will this fit on a Carradice Bagman
By
27 May 2023
Will this fit on a Carradice Bagman which has a 7mm diameter? Thanks
Hello & thank you for your enquiry.
In checking with SON they recommend use with 10mm only. Sorry but your 7 mm diameter is not applicable.
Kind regards, PC 31/5/23.
Is light mounatable on a seat stay?
By
21 May 2023
can I mount this light on a seat stay? If not can you recommend a dynamo rear light that can be placed here. This is for PBP when my seat post will be obscured by my carridice barley saddle bag
Yes this technically can fit on the seat stays, but the light beam will be directed into the air and possibly into drivers or other riders eyeline, many riders will use a normal rack mount fitting version and fashion an L bracket so the light is rear facing, there is also a fender mounted version if you are running full mudguards. Question on connection re polarity to sinewave Beacon
By
30 Jun 2021
I have a Sinewave Beacon, and now unpacked can see the small flying lead for the rear light connection (separate from the Dynamo connection (AC) - does the SON rear light rack tube need to connected in any particular way to the Beacon flying lead i.e. is there a polarity requirement?

Thank you.
The rear light is not polarity depedant- so can go either way around.
