These are Rixen & Kaul products made in Germany. Made from glass fibre filled nylon they are well designed and work well. Also used by Carradice, Agu and others. R&K seem to be confused about their marketing policy and more interested in OEM sourcing than supplying dealers or individuals with parts. Ortlieb fittings may require some modification to be compatible.

Does this product come with the inserts that the hooks attach to

As far as I can tell there is a need for three pieces to use the rail, the rail itself, the hooks, and the inserts which join the two. It looks like the hooks don't include the inserts and I can't find the inserts listed separately, so does the rail come with the inserts?
