Bought this qr clamp togeather with the zip roll bag. Used plastic zip ties to fix it under my stem so that I can use the roll bag as a handlebar bar and easily remove it at cafe stops.

For many years I've used the Carradice bag uplift system and been happy with it. However, a recent frame purchase meant very little seat pin showing so couldn't fit bag uplift seat pin support clamp, so tried out the Carradice quick release system. Overall, very happy. Need to secure plastic cable ties very tight so bag nice and secure. Also spring release catches can feel a bit 'rough' at times - bit of WD40 - problem solved! Saddle clamp seems very solid and secure, probably need to tighten clamping bolt from time to time.

I had high hopes for this, but.... Does NOT fit a Brooks B-17 saddle. Clamp does not line up with seat rails, even if it did there is no room behind seat post clamp even with saddle pushed back as far as it will go. Also, without the support it would hang down and rub on the back wheel because the bracket sits about 3cm below where the saddle loops are. Also, the spring operation is a bit clunky.

Got this for my bike to use my Carradice Super C. Easy to set up on saddle and attach bag too. No problems as this one is for my No2 bike and have used another one for 2 years on bike No.1. I find it strong enough for all the stuff I carry and easy enough to click on and off

Fits to saddle very easily and securely. Holds saddle bag well via plastic adapter well. Rated up to 10 kg. However, the rods which go through the adapter do not have tapered tips and getting these both through the adapter's tubes is fiddly - especially on a dark night - and the mechanism feels rather gritty. Ensuring these rods go the whole way through into the lateral black metal support holes seems more difficult than necessary

I bought this in place of the carradice Sqr uplift I had been using with my Brompton. It’s excellent . Maybe not quite so easy to attach though it makes my carradice camper hang a little closer to the seat post making for a more stable load carry . Very pleased

I use this with the Carradice Zipped Roll saddle bag and it is a superb clamp. The addition of the zip tie adapter makes its attachment and removal even easier than before.

I had purchased one of these as part of a bag support kit about 10 years ago. That version did not include the loop replacement part. This product appears to be quite solid and reliable. I highly recommend it for quickly mounting and unmounting your Carradice bag. I guess it is a little pricy for what you get, but I really like my Carradice Camper, and this device makes it much more efficient to use.

This is a great way of quickly attaching your carradice bag. But, the qr mechanism feels really flimsy and only time will tell if it stands up to regular use. The plastic bag attachment also feels very lightweight.
