Good news: the patch and glue works as advertised. It sticks to cotton duck fabric, looks durable.
.
Bad news: it _only_ works as advertised. The cotton duck patch does not stick to the leather bit on the outside of the saddlebag. If you want to fix that part if it was torn by the tire rubbing a sagging saddlebag, look for another glue.

Admittedly that is what the manual says - you are supposed to patch on the inside only!
