- Attaches to most saddles (not compatible with sprung saddles)
- Comes complete with Bagman adapter
- Holds bag vertically and reduces swing
- For use with Barley, Junior, Pendle, Lowsaddle Longflap and Super C Audax saddlebags
- Maximum Load: 10kg
- Clearance required from saddle rails to just above rear wheel approx. 18cm

ProsStable. Better access to saddlebags.
A very good design to hold Carradice saddlebags. I use it for a well packed Zip roll saddlebag. It keeps the bag stable, offers quick release and puts the bag in a better position for access. The sport version doesn't look out of place on my road bike either.

ProsSolid piece of hardware
This is an ingenious bit of hardware. Built for the carradice saddlebag,which is brilliant,the two just mesh together. Easy on and off the bike,solidly built,should last forever

ConsCarridice - please replace side screws with decent Allen bolts
ProsWell made, lightweight
Replaced a beam rack with a saddlebag and this bag support - really an excellent piece of kit.
Couldn't be without out it but too much $$$!

ConsHeavy, obstructive, overpriced, no threadlock on the little pins.
ProsWell made, smart, very functional
The Carradice bags are amazing but I couldn't do with a fiddly buckle under the saddle if I needed to get it off. I also don't want it swinging round a £80 seat post. That said, this is an must. But why SO expensive compared with the bags!

Prosstabilizes the bag and stops it swinging and looks good to boot
This is a replacement for the one that was stolen {along with my bike}! In readiness for my replacement bike which i miss dearly

metal section detachable?

Is the metal section of this (the part that the bag actually sits on) able to be removed without removing the entire device from the saddle rails? (e.g. for riding when not using a bag)
Yes, two clamping bolts either side.
