From the Carradice Originals range the Pendle saddlebag was created in response to the increasing demand for a "junior" sized saddlebag but with the added versatility of side pockets. Made from 100% waterproof 18oz Cotton Duck & available in two colours the Pendle fits the bill for those that enjoy day rides. The buckles & fastenings are all metal whilst the straps are made from chromed leather, which means they keep their strength & looks no matter what weather & conditions they face. All Carradice Originals bags come with a lifetime guarantee against defective materials & workmanship.

Well made cycling tardis

ProsStrong, well made, waterproof, loads of space

This bag is like a tardis! You'll need a support bracket for it but when properly packed it can hold a surprising amount. For work it'll take my packed lunch, clean shirt etc, wallet and keys. Then there's also room to bring food home for tea. Small tool kit and spare tube go in the outer pockets. I'm on my second one of these, the first is seven years old and still waterproof, no splits and in good order. Just needed another for a bike in a different location. If you're looking for something, strong, capacious and waterproof this is definitely worth looking at. Recommend without hesitation.

ProsThe best part is I can fold my bike with the bag on the saddle. I ride a Brompton.

Perfect Size For The Brompton

ProsCompact enough for the Brompton but big enough for a dayride.

I bought this as an alternative to the Brompton racktop, which has to be removed when folding the bike, a bit of a nusiance. The Pendle can stay on the folded Brompton and is just the right size for a small wheeled folding bike.

Excellent product. You definitely get what you pay for with cycling equipment and although this bag is at the higher end of the market, it is top quality.

SJS do the best prices that I can find for Carradice products.

Consa little heavy when combined with the SQR Uplift system

Very well made quality saddlebag .. Well worth the money
I highly recommend that you purchase the Carradice SQR Saddlebag Uplift System otherwise there is a good chhance of the saddlebag catching the back of your legs as you cycle. The bags is best suited to touring bikes .. I used mine on a recent London to Paris ride and it was perfect albeit it a little heavy when combined with the SQR uplift system.
