Fits Mega Map holder & Carradice / AGU / Karrimor / Gilles Berthoud / Altura GB905 Bar Bags

Quick release mounting block allows quick and easy attachment and removal of handlebar appliances such as barbags or map holders. 70mm between clamps (c-c) Maximum recommended load 7kg, cable may be replaced by current type brake cable.The ultimate in convenience.
Does now fit some Ortlieb barbags.

Comes with fittings for 22-26mm.

ConsNo additional clamps to allow for different diameter bars

ProsGood quality

Required an extra mount to move a box to a second bike, without the faff of removing and refitting the R&K fixing, slightly disappointing to find that the bar clamps were only for smaller diameter bars, as this was going onto a bike with 31 mm bars, previously the mount has come with a choice of two diameter clamps, not now apparently, fortunately I had a suitable pair in my spares box from the last purchase which went onto a thinner diameter bar.

ProsStrong, safe, easily-fitted

I bought this so I could use my bar bag on my second bike. KlickFix is strong and safe and used by many bar bag makers (but not Ortleib).

We stock the Ortleib map cover which is intended for their own bags #43505, You Altura bag should fit provided it is using a KickFix back plate. SK 24/11/23

Ortlieb Compatible?

It says compatible with some ortlieb products - can you tell me which ones please. I have a compact bar bag which is quite a few years old now, plus a newer one which I think is called compact series 6? I would like to pursue changing to this fix system so I can add the extenion bar to mount a light/camera.

I have a bar bag with which I don't think will be compatible. Do you supply a mounting plate that I could fit to my rigid bag compatible with this Kwikfix system?

On the Ortlieb USA site ( http://www.ortliebusa.com/prodInfo.asp?pid=374&cid=2 ) it says that the bag is compatible with Klick fix mounts. Is your information up to date for the new bags?
