Ortlieb Mounting Set for Saddle-Bag - E97

I bought two of these to complement the one I already have so that I can use the versatile Ortlieb bag on all bikes. I have Brooks B17 saddles on all my bikes and this bracket fits poorly but with adjustment can be made to work. I hope that Ortlieb will adjust the sizing to fit the Brooks, there is a huge Brooks market which will want them. They are inexpensive.

My wife and I both have 2 bikes each (mountain and road) so decided to buy 2 x Ortlieb saddle bags and buy additional Ortlieb brackets to allow us to swap the saddle bag between bikes rather than buying a saddle bag for each bike. These brackets are excellent quality, easy to fit, great design and very reasonably priced.
The service/ delivery from SJS was first class and painless. I would definitely recommend and will return to SJS from now on.

After a lot of fiddling about I managed to get a secure fixing to a Brooks saddle but it was right on the edge of falling out.
However once fixed it is a very robust and simple method of mounting the saddle bag enabling easy fixing and removing. (other saddles may have rails at narrower centres which makes installation easier)
