ProsInexpensive, well made.
I wanted to fit SKS mudguards to my 531C frameset which doesn't have brazed on eyelets. These Tortec P Clips are easy to install, look neat and above all are secure. I found the 13mm version a very good fit indeed.

I recommend this product
ConsInternal diameter is less than the size you order due to the thickness of the rubber.
ProsProtects your frameset from damage
These clips are easy to fit / use and avoid unnecessary damage to the paint job of your frameset. I have a 531 frame and forks and used the 13mm version of these clip and they worked fine with the stays of the mudguards I was fitting between the bolt tabs. However, if you want to attach mudguard stays to one side or the other of these clips, you'd probably need to order a larger size so the tabs meet up.

ConsSizing issue
ProsWell made
My frame has 13mm seatstays. I ordered 13mm clips. They are way too small. I think the size does not take account of the rubber coating. Order a size larger than your seatstay if you want it to fit.
well made and should last

Opening Lenght
By
19 Jun 2022
Can you tell me the Lenght opening of these clips please. I need to fit to a front fork (non round) which is 27mm. Will they go as far as 27 and still leave enough to close the tabs? I am fine working out my diameter.
Sadly we only have the clamp diameters, not their open lengths.

Can I use on old bike (oval 29x19mm)
By
26 Aug 2018
I have an old Peogeot, with oval line and I would like to fit the Surly Front Rack. I was thinking on buying this p-clips in case the Rack does not come with them. With option may be better for 29mm (front to back) and 19mm (left to right)
Hi, if you are lucky the 22mm might fit. But I think you really need 25mm which we don't have. Thanks.
Which P-Clips For Oval Seat Stays - To Fit A Rack?
By
29 Jan 2017
Seat stays measure 65mm circumference which would mean 21mm diameter if they were round, but they're actually oval. Should I go for 22mm p-clips anyway? Thanks!
Hi,

It well depend on how oval your chainstays are, if they are very oval then even correctly sized p-clips may not work properly, if they are only slightly oval then the 22mm option would probably be the best to go for.

Thanks.

Do your know what size I need for my bike? It's a specialized Sirrus comp disc 2016.

Thanks
Hi,

Unfortunately as we don't sell Specialized bikes we have no way of knowing which size it is you need. You'll need to measure the diameter of the place you're looking to fit the p-clip too and match it up to the best option we have available.

Thanks.

Weight Limit?
By
09 Aug 2015
Hi there,

What weight limit are these rated to? I'm looking for a solution for a child seat rated to 25kg.
Hi, the manufacturer doesn't provide a weight rating for these however we probably wouldn't recommend using these if you intend to attach a childseat. Regards
