I recommend this product
Perfect match for mudguards. Make sure you buy matching size. For full non-rattle security I recommend fitting 2 no. on the front and at least one on the back, with the BB and bridge also secured. Requires tools and workshop skills to fit. Bit pricey but they will probably last forever.

Thank you for your earlier reply. This confirms what I had suspected: the stays I have on my mudguards have been cut at some point in their history.
Is it possible to purchase just one stay?

How long are these stays?

I have a set of Gilles B mudguards fitted to a bike with 27” x 1 1/4” wheels and the stays are not quite long enough to be properly clamped at the fork eyes on the front wheel. I really only need one longer stay.
The stays from the centre of the U bend to the tip is 410mm long. SK 21/01/25

I'm looking to match these with eyelet bolts. Would they fit through your part #49885?
Hi, these stay wires are 5 mm in diameter. The Weldtite Eyelet bolts have 4 mm holes. They will not fit. Thanks.

How long are the stays? I need stays a bit longer then 40 cm end to end due to braze on placement in the rear of the frame.
