Details
Manufacturing since 1989, Flinger Mudguards are specialists in production of high quality, lightweight, impact resistant mudguards for road or MTB use.

Attention to details such as clearance for modern disc brakes or carrier racks, safety release clips, mudflaps front/rear and a Cateye reflector make these guards the choice of the discerning all weather cyclist, keeping you dry and safe.

Made from lightweight, flexible, impact resistant, polycarbonate with stainless steel v-stays and brackets. We increased the diameter of the stays to 4mm, this dramatically increases the overall stiffness of the guards. Flingers are the most rigid, stable guards on the market.

- Round profile (compatible with modern frames and brake calipers)
- Kinked stays front and rear offer clearance for disc brakes or carriers
- Safety clip on front stays
- Mudflap, reflector
- Fitting kit included

Sizes:
- 700 x 35 for 18-25c tyres
- 700 x 42 for 25-32c tyres

I recommend this product
ConsA bit of a pain to fit.
ProsGood quality, effective, mudflaps front and rear.
I've had these for over 2000 miles now, and they still look excellent. I bought the 50mm width, which work well with my 40mm tyres. The mudflaps make a big difference in wet weather. They're a bit of a pain to fit, but no different to other mudguards of this type.

Consnon really
Prossmart well made
Fitted these to our tandem and they look very smart
all the fittings seem well made i have fitted many
mudguards in the past and i think paying a bit more
for them is well worth it .I did have to cut the stays but
a good hacksaw and a vice saw the job through
Nice quality

ProsNice quality, reasonable price
Fitting is not a job you should undertake in a hurry, be prepared to take your time. My chainstay bridge wasn't drilled for a fixing bolt so I tie strapped the end, really secure. There's a variety of hardware supplied which is nice quality. The stays will need cutting to length, ideally you will need a vice to hold the stays securely. They cut fine with a hacksaw. This is what takes the time, fitting, marking, removing, cutting, re-assembly and final adjusting. I couldn't fit the plastic securing clip on the front ones as they fouled my Q/R levers. I bolted the stays direct to the fork with nyloc nuts for security. I used extra washers under the bolt heads. The first ride I experienced a creaking which was the front mudguard touching the fork blades. I gave it a bit of clearance with a Dremel which cured it. I fitted them to my 27" x 11/4 wheels with 32mm tyres and they were fine. Really nice looking, strong and a good looking reflector.
