Small rubber mudflap. 60mm x 65mm with bolt screw and washer.

Weight: 9g .

Note: If replacing the flap on a post-2011 bike, the rivet has to be removed.

ProsEasy to fit and not to expensive

My Brompton is about the 1994 mark and I think the rear mud flap would have been the original, It must have come off on a ride some where. For the cost of an original part and ease of fitting there was little point in fitting any alternative.

Took me 5 minutes to fit onto my 1988 Brompton as an upgrade. Came with the fixing bolt and washers so an easy job.

Proscheap, easy, essential

Despite it's small size, this is one of the most needed bits on a Brompton which I didn't realise until my coat got absolutely covered in dirty and god knows what else!

Easy enough to fit and super duper!

Rear mudflap

My 1996 Brompton looks as if it never had a rear mudflap. Do I need to drill a hole to fix a new one?
