Sorted pedals on a couple of bikes with these

BS marked reflectors, good value - used built in holder on one bike and while bike other had different fitting style for holder I could just pop out the new reflector element and glue into the old empty holder.

ProsThey bolt on securely. Very good value, too.
So much better than the ones which just push on with a plastic stud. These can be fitted front and back, because the bolts are strong enough to hold toeclips in place. Couldn't find them anywhere else.

ProsGood value, easy to fit, and solid construction
Good value, easy to fit, and solid construction. Some other pedal reflectors have plastic lugs to attach them to the pedal (which can snap) whereas these have metal bolts so they should stand the test of time.

It is not always easy to get hold of simple bike parts like these screw-in reflectors. SJS is a treasure trove of hard to find items.

ConsNeeded modification to fit my pedals.
ProsGood cost effective product.
I bought two sets of these for Wellgo cast metal pedals. The reflectors are of a universal type. The black plastic carrier has slots so that the fixing bolts can accommodate a variety of hole centres. Both my pairs of pedals have a 12mm recess to take a reflector. The black plastic carrier is much wider. I had to cut away the carriers and drill the reflectors (which ARE 12mm wide) to take the bolts.
A bit of a faff but a good cost-effective product.

I couldn't find a local supplier of these, so I was pleased that they were easily obtainable from SJS at reasonable cost. They seem to be well made and have the bolt-on fitting, which I prefer.

ConsFiddly to fit
ProsDesign, visibility, value and look good when fitted
I fitted these reflectors to a pair of Wellgo M142 pedals on a previous bike 5/6 years ago.I was happy with the design and build quality and searched high and low to find more of the same.[I thought the manufacturers had stopped making them or replaced them with a different model].I have fitted the same Wellgo M142 pedals and finally found this type of reflector was available. They are a bit tricky to fit to the wellgo pedal but they look smart, are highly visible and do the job. Great design and good value

ConsFiddly to tighten unless you have a 7mm spanner
ProsDoes job perfectly
Well made replacement with two bolts that can be adjusted to fit hole spacing on pedal between 18mm and 31mm, which means it will fit virtually any pedal. You need a flat open 7mm spanner to fit the item, failing which a small pair of pliers may do the job. Pedal reflectors are a legal requirement under the Pedal Bicycles (Safety) Regulations 2010.

ConsToe clips may give problems with attaching.
ProsEasy to fit due to sliding bolt positions
Needed to replace existing disintegrating reflectors. The rear pieces attached fine but the front two were unusable due to toe clip strengthener ribs so beware and check first.
Postage costs seem high for such a small and light item.

ConsStainless steel bolts would be better
ProsNice quality and value
I didn't get any reflectors on my new bike, and despite people telling me it looked cooler without them as a stickler for legality (and for the night safety they provide) I needed to find a set of these. They fit the bill and are of good quality. I would have paid a bit more for stainless steel bolts and nuts, but these were easy enough to fit and will hopefully last well.

ProsThey,make,your,bike,legal,at,night,time.
Well done SJSC for selling pedal reflectors. Not many bike shops appear to sell them. I once got a funny look from a shop assistant when I asked if they sell pedal reflectors, which I think is a bit poor considering they are a legal requirement at night time, and it is a tall order expecting them to last the life of the pedals as they inevitably get bashed. My only concern is that the bolts are only just long enough to attach toe clips, and that's without using any washers. This is the reason for me not giving five stars all around. They are certainly not the longest bolts I have seen in pedal reflectors. Depending on the pedals and the toe clips that you are using, you might need to prize out the orange lens with a knife and put longer bolts in.

That’s spot on. Nice price too, and ones that screw on should be less likely to break off than the ones that clip in place.

ConsMay be too chunky for some
ProsSolid & Chunky, should last well
Fiddly but easy to fit if you have a small spanner. I needed to ask the question about the bolt width adjustment range, so it would be useful to have that included in the description.
The reflectors seem quite solid and chunky though this means they do stick out a bit (i.e. with the pedal horizontal, adds about 1 inch to the pedal length front to back) and this may make them prone to being caught when putting your foot on and off the pedals if you don't use footclips.
Well worth having to increase visibility and they are a legal requirement for cycling at night I believe.
Postage costs seem a bit high though not ridiculous like some vendors.

Proslegal requirement
I fitted these to Wellgo alloy flat MTB pedals. They fit securely, although their width does mean that they stick out a bit from the edges of the pedals. So far this hasn't made any difference to the pedalling.
Very useful if you use a bike for commuting after dark but still want to have high end pedals (which don't normally come with reflectors).

Got these to fit to Shimano M324's. They fit just fine, as the bolts slide to accommodate different spaced mountings. Once on though, you can't easily adjust the tensioners. Other than that worked a treat, a lot cheaper than the official Shimano reflectors and much more readily obtainable.
