ProsLight, rigid, good value.

I Chose these to fit a 300mm Zefal pump to my bikes fairly short seat tube - they work perfectly. Easy to fit, lightweight but rigid and strong enough to securely hold a regular plastic pump. Being plastic they don't mark the paint on the frame. As received in the packet the body of each was bent in too tight a curve for the frame tube, so I put them in very hot (off the boil) water and gently eased the curve to suit the frame - they then fitted nicely.

ConsNot strong enough to hold Topeak road pumps.

ProsEasily fitted to bike frame.

Bought these to fix a Topeak road pump to my Thorn Nomad Mk3 frame. The pump has strong spring action to keep it in place between the pegs. Too strong it seems, the pegs broke as soon as the pump was fitted. Will try the Zefal Doodads next.

I recommend this product

ProsSimple, lightweight and corrosion free. Can be modified for thinner or thicker tubes.

I wanted to fit a Zefal HPX 1 on the seat stay which is too thin for this clip so I knew it might not work. I cut off the strap and used 2 cable ties instead and it worked! I am sure it would work well as intended on the seat or top tube.
