SKS Brass Presta Adapter with Chain

Unfortunately the small diameter of the rubber sealing ring means that the spindle of the Presta valve gets pushed in, letting out all the air that is already in the tyre. The rubber ring then creates considerable resistance on the threads of the valve stem, very much like a nylon lined anti-loosening nut. Unfortunately I do not envisage a long lifespan of the rubber sealing ring. It gets badly chewed up every time the adapter is screwed onto the valve.
