Good Quality Product But Requires Fitting Guidance

ConsDifficult to fit

ProsGood quality tape

The first thing I discovered about this rim tape is that is not particularly soft or stretchy. It requires pre-heating (hot water immersion) and pre-stretching to get the tape over the rim. When the last section of tape is eased over the rim it is a good idea to slide a screwdriver shaft under the tape to help centralise the tape and even out the tension.

Do any of these work well with a 28-630 tyre going on a 27 1/4 wheel?

Hi,

The only rim tape we have suitable for 27" (630) rims is the Jante Velox self adhesive tape as you can make it as long or as short as you need too. These are SJSC part 761.

This Zefal rim tape size is 26" (559) x 22mm?
