An extra strong rim for Bromptons etc.

The rims have directed spoke holes so they are especially suitable for rear hub gears and front dynohubs.

The spoke nipple leaves the rim directed towards the correct hole in the hub to reduce the spoke bend within the nipple.

This is a standard drill rim.
Schrader valve compatible.

Must not be built radial

Great Rim For Bromptons

ConsA bit more money than the stock Brompton rim

ProsBetter rim than stock Brompton

The standard Brompton tire mounts on to this rim just as easily as on the stock Brompton rim, The angle drilling for the spoke holes greatly reduces the bending at the nipples when laced up on a Sturmey Archer XRF8, W 8Spd hub with a 2x lacing. Overall depth of rim is about 25.5 mm, about 5.5mm more than the stock Brompton rim. The machined brake surface is perhaps 1mm wider than the stock Brompton rim.

Can I use this rim to replace the rim on my SRAM 3/6 speed Brompton hub?

If so what spoke length do I need please? My current length of spoke is 154mm 13g on the older single walled rim. Many thanks.

Yes this would be suitable, however we would strongly consider changing the hub as the SRAM hub sprockets are no longer available.
The BWR hub is here - SJS Cycles part number : 50986
We can build this into an Andra rim for you or suggest spoke length of 144 mm with BWR hub, we do not have the measurements to recommend spokes for a SRAM hub.
