Prosgreat classic looks, very tough
This is my first new Brooks saddle. My others had already been broken in and were good for my 100 mile rides. Lets see how well a new one goes but I haven't been out on it yet due to a faulty tube. It looks exactly the same as the old ones. It is worth getting just for the sumptuous packaging. It looks really great on the bike and will no doubt last longer than the gel filled Italian elastomer thing that fell apart. Includes a tensioning tool.

ConsNeeds some care when in the wet
ProsGreat looking, comfortable.
Always wanted one of these but was worried about how long it would take to wear in. The first ride, about 15 miles was OK, a bit hard, but bearable. The second ride was 30 mile and it felt pretty good. I'm thrilled with this saddle and look forward to many comfortable hours in it!

ProsThe real deal at a great price
My son purchased ths for a fixie project. It is a fantastic classic saddle and looke great on the bike. This is by far the best price we have seen and the order arrived really quick and in perfect condition.

Consheavier than most competitors
Prosprice, comfort, classic appearance
As well made as the B17 Champ Narrow it replaces, it's comfortable, or will be when it's fully broken in. I tried seven saddles before settling on this, my third B17 and don't need copper rivets, copper or titan rails or pre aged leather, so the basic B17 at a very good price from Chain Reaction suited me.
