Brooks Saddle Maintenance Kit

A complete kit for preserving and adjusting your Brooks saddle to ensure maximum comfort and longevity.

The oils in leather tend to dry out over time; Proofide is a leather treatment that replenishes these oils. Brooks recommends using a small amount of Proofide on a regualr basis. Four times a year is a good schedule. Rub the proofide into the leather with your fingers and let it sit overnight. In the morning polish off the dry residue with the cloth and you will be ready to go.

The Spanner is used to tension the saddle in compensation for leather stretch. It is made to fit on the tension nut under nose saddle where standard wrenches would be a tight fit.
