A nightmare to fit this tension pin, but if you love your Brooks B17 saddle (as I do) then there is no alternative!

ConsLong winded to fit, no guidance on fitting on Brooks website

Lots of online methods of fitting.I used a G clamp to hold the inverted saddle to the workbench. I used a screwdriver to lever the bolt into the saddle nose. Then I used another G clamp to compress the metal saddle nose against the bolt.It had engaged when I undid the clamp.

Phoned first to check I was ordering right size part,very helpful staff.Part arrived promptly and was good quality,have fitted the item which was spot on for my very old Brooks saddle.

I recommend this product

The tension adjustment screw broke on my B17. It took a bit of force and measured blows with a hammer to get the replacement into place, but it is now working properly and the saddle is restored to optimum performance. It was sagging without the tensioning screw. SJS are so useful for this type of spare part which is difficult to find for sale elsewhere.

Will this work for a B17 Champion Special with titanium rails?
