Compatibility with 29.8mm

My frame requires a seatpost clamp of 29.8mm diameter. Do you think the 30.0 clamp size would work with this, given it is only 0.2mm difference? Thanks
It is possible but without attempting it would cannot confirm this. 09/08/24
