ConsNone, but I would have liked a choice of say 10mm diameter for my application.

ProsGood quality and nice finish

I have an old triplet and needed to replace existing seat post bolts. These did the job perfectly. I chose this bolt particularly because of the allen key tightening method which prevented undue scuffing of the paint work.

Do you know what bolt I need?

I need a replacement bolt for my bike with a Specialized seat post. I have measured my current rounded off bolt but cant work out which measurements are needed and where. The threaded side of the bolt has the measurement of the thread as 25mm and the whole threaded bolt comes too 37mm. the non exposed threaded bolt come to 33mm in length and 7mm wide (outside to outside). I have photos as well if needed. Thank you

Need To Replace Seat Binder Bolt

Seat post binder bolt burred. 25mm long in situ. 12mm diameter bolt ends sunk into recesses. Does 12504/SCGER25S fit? Will it tighten at 25mm, are the bolt heads 12mm diameter? Ta.

Hi,

Although this bolt would tighten up at 25mm (with the spacer) the diameter is much narrower at 8mm than what you need I'm afraid.

Looking To Replace Old Fashioned Pinch Bolt

As above , will this component fit ?need to know max bolt diameter of widest part of barrel ,and max width it will fit, also diameter of allen key heads. The old bolt was notched 8mm size.

Hi,

The barrel section of the bolt is 8mm on both sides. It has an M6 thread. The inside length (between the two lips) can be anywhere between 25 and 30mm.
