ProsEase of fitting

After recently fitting a new chain on my Brompton P6R I noticed the chain was jumping a bit on the 12T sprocket and, since it was running ok on the 18T I just replaced the 12T. Now running smoothly.

Single Speed suitable?

I need to replace the Sprocket on a Single Speed 9 spline hub, approx MY2019. The old sprocket is around 3 (maybe 3.1) millimetres thick - is this a replacement?

This is suitable for SS on a Brompton 1/2 speed hub with 9 splines.

switch 3 spline to 9 spline hub

I see the 9 spline sprockets are widely available - but I have a 3 spline hub (very few sprockets available). Can I change out the hub?

SJS Customer Service:

You would need a new hub, which will convert 3 speed to 6 speed. In 3 spline, you can get 12-16t easily.
