Brompton S6L gearing
By Labros Dimitropoulos

Hi,
I have a 2019 Brompton S6L and although I replaced the chainring with 54T I still find gearing fairly low at 1st, 2nd and 3rd even going uphill. Accordingly I was thinking of replacing the rear sprockets from 13/16 to 12/15 using this 15T sprocket and the 12T (HSL893). Can you please advise if that would work and whether I also need to change my chain?
Thanks

We would sooner up the chainring, 56t - SJS Cycles part number : 53555
Smaller sprockets wear quicker, and will not shift as well.
